ArmInfo.The US supports conflict resolution in the countries of the EU Eastern Partnership program. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs George Kent said at a video conference held jointly with the Marshall Fund. "These conflicts are sometimes called frozen. But they also include semi-frozen conflicts, such as Transnistria and Nagorno-Karabakh," Kent said during discussions on conflicts in the territories of the EaP member countries.
At the same time, he added that the United States supports the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway project linking Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia, as well as the completion of the Southern Gas Corridor project, the construction of the deep sea ports of Anaklia and Poti in Georgia. He added that Washington supports these projects because they contribute to the development of the region.
