ArmInfo. Employees of the Ministry of Defense system and military personnel who took advantage of the state action as part of the 9th package of anti-crisis measures should return everything to the last penny. On May 6, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated this from the rostrum of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.
He explained that these funds were intended for people of a different category. And the fact that there are certain types of secret services that do not appear in the general database, according to the prime minister, has become a loophole for this type of deed. "It's a very painful fact that the funds provided for socially disadvantaged citizens were transferred in a different direction," the head of government said, stressing in this regard the need for an internal investigation to find out the reasons.
Pashinyan added that this is an extremely unacceptable phenomenon when in today's crisis in Armenia one has to face a similar logic, when citizens have considerable deposits in banks and who have increased their salaries have applied for one-time benefits for unsecured groups of the population.
, the prime minister concluded.
It should be reminded that within the framework of the 9th assistance program of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, a single payment of 26.500 drams, in those families where both parents do not work (do not have a registered job).
At the moment, according to the press secretary of the Armenian Ministry of Defense Shushanik Stepanyan, the issue is being studied, an official investigation will be appointed to find out the underlying causes of the incident, and to take the necessary measures.
