ArmInfo. The Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) sharply condemned the message of US President Donald Trump on the occasion of April 24th. It should be noted that in the message to Trump, once again, instead of the word Genocide, <Metz Egern> was used (big massacre - ed.). An ANCA statement noted that for four consecutive years, President Trump was unable, using the word "genocide", to properly condemn the Ottoman Turkish government's destruction of millions of Armenians, Greeks, and Assyrians. Meanwhile, the US president earlier promised to defend the persecuted Christians and representatives of other religious groups around the world. The denial of the Armenian Genocide, ANCA emphasizes, is the Ankara policy that was imposed on Washington by Trump. It is also indicated that by avoiding the use of the term "genocide", Trump impedes the administration of justice over Turkey in connection with the Armenian Genocide. <Despite the almost unanimous recognition by the Congress of the Armenian Genocide last year, President Trump once again granted Turkish President Erdogan - an openly anti-American dictator - the right of veto on the honest memory of the United States on the Genocide of millions of Armenians and other Christians in Turkey during the First World War>, - noted in the statement.
