According to the source, taking into account the PSRC's statement on the termination of force majeure from April 22, Gazprom Armenia CJSC informs that in case of non-payment the gas supply to consumers will be terminated.
Recall that on April 22, PSRC issued a statement stating that from today the residents of Armenia must timely fulfill their payment obligations for utilities. According to the report, within the framework of anti- crisis measures approved by the government, the problem for socially disadvantaged and vulnerable groups of the population to pay utility bills has been substantially mitigated. In this regard, from April 22, PSRC decided to invalidate force majeure caused by coronavirus infection and preventing the fulfillment of payment obligations for services for the supply of electricity, natural gas and drinking water. <Taking into account the fact that the Commandant lifted restrictions on certain types of business activities, even in conditions of restricting the movement of citizens, for the latter it is possible to make various payments through payment terminals, in addition, some bank branches operate in normal mode, and in each housing estate at least one post office>, the statement said.
