ArmInfo. The central headquarters of Artsakh presidential candidate Vitaly Balasanyan (Justice party) alleges violations in the national election. According to a widespread statement, numerous reports were received that voters were photographing ballots. Moreover, according to the Justice party, these facts took place in polling stations both in Stepanakert and in Shushi. In this regard, the party calls on the Central Election Commission to take immediate measures to eliminate these violations.
We add that the observation mission in particular is carried out by the Union of Informed Citizens, including its Stepanakert branch. Its representatives will work in 52 polling stations, and mobile groups will respond to incoming signals of violations.
According to the Central Election Commission, 103,663 citizens of Artsakh have the right to vote, 280 polling stations have been created. Outside of the NKR, one of the polling stations operates in Yerevan, where, as of 11:00, 94 voters took part in the voting.
Given the situation with coronavirus in the world, unprecedented security measures were taken at polling stations: they were all disinfected, and observers, journalists, members of precinct commissions and voters themselves were provided with personal protective equipment and disposable handles.
