Thus, according to the eighth report, the top ten happy countries included Finland, Denmark, Switzerland, Iceland, Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden, New Zealand, Austria and Luxembourg.
The neighbors of Armenia - Georgia was ranked 117th , Iran - 118th , Turkey - 93rd , Azerbaijan -89th.
The ally of Armenia - Russia was ranked 73rd, at 5 points worsening its position compared to last year. The United States is ranks 18th, Germany-17th, and the United Kingdom and France are -13th and 23rd, respectively.
The most unhappiness countries, according to the authors of the report, were Afghanistan (the last line of the ranking), South Sudan, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, the Central African Republic, Tanzania, Botswana, Yemen, Malawi and India.
The World Happiness Report is annually compiled by the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Unit. It estimates 156 countries and takes into account indicators such as life expectancy, social support, corruption and others. For the first time, the United Nations released the World Happiness Report in 2012.
