ArmInfo. The participation of the people in the upcoming referendum on amendments to the Constitution is very important. So, if earlier our citizens determined their non-participation in the electoral processes by the inevitable falsification of their results, today the people and nobody else will decide the fate of the Constitutional. A similar  opinion was expressed by ArmInfo, the leader of the Republic party Aram Sargsyan.

"The departure of the members of the current Constitutional Court is  inevitable and uncontested. The fish always rots from the head, and  the head of the judicial system is the Constitutional Court.  Accordingly, it is necessary to start shaking the system from the  head. The Constitutional Court must undergo the same changes that the  executive and legislative branches underwent. After the people the  head of the executive branch took to the street, the legislative  branch acknowledged its own mistakes and left. Today, the  Constitutional Court, deprived of public trust, must leave. And I see  no reason preventing the people from making this decision, "stressed  street politician.

Sargsyan recalled that it was the current head of the Constitutional  Court, Hrayr Tovmasyan, who convinced the public that the  parliamentary form of government was the most beautiful of all.  Meanwhile, all his lies pursued the only goal - to seat Prime  Minister Serzh Sargsyan in the chair, and to sit in the chair of the  President of the Constitutional Court himself until 2035. The  politician is convinced that a person with such a filling cannot head  the pyramid of legislative power.

According to the politician, the Tovmasyan's  Constitution  periodically creates crisis situations in the absence of the  possibility of expressing distrust to Tovmasyan and other members of  the Constitutional Court. At the same time, the chairman of the  Constitutional Court actually announced his intention to refuse to  satisfy complaints against representatives of the former government,  which already speaks of his membership in this political team. And it  is not only the ruling force that is well aware of this, the people  are well aware of this, and this understanding, according to his  forecasts, will certainly be expressed on April 5th.

On February 10, Armenian President Armen Sargsyan signed a decree on  holding a referendum on constitutional amendments on April 5.  Earlier, at an extraordinary sitting of the National Assembly of  Armenia on February 6, the deputies voted "for" the issue of the need  to adopt amendments to the Constitution, providing for the  termination of the powers of the chairman and members of the  Constitutional Court for a referendum. We are talking about article  213 of the Constitution governing the tenure of members and the  chairman of the Constitutional Court. The adoption of the amendments  will allow the resignation of the current composition of the  Constitutional Court.
