Famous actor and director Yervand Manaryan passed away

ArmInfo.Famous actor and movie maker Yervand Manaryan passed away in his 96th year of life. The appropriate condolences  on their pages on Facebook in particular  expressed RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Speaker of the  Armenian Parliament Ararat Mirzoyan. <Rest in peace, dear Master!>, -  noted Pashinyan.

 <With deep sorrow, I learned about the passing away of one of the  greatest Armenians of our time - Yervand Manaryan. We were left by  one of the best citizens of the country, one of the best art  historians and representatives of the intelligentsia>, the speaker  noted.

Yervand Manaryan was born on August 10, 1924 in Arak (Iran). He  studied at the Haykazyan Armenian school in Iran, as well as at the  American and Persian colleges in Tehran. Repatriated to Armenia in  1946.  He graduated from the directing department of the Yerevan  Theater Institute; as a director and actor, he worked in a number of  Armenian theaters. As a film actor, he brilliantly expressed  himself  in a number of popular films, including the "Bride from the North",  released in 1975.
