ArmInfo. The European Commission has launched a partnership applications competition for sustainable cities. According to the EU Eastern Partnership Program website, the purpose of grant financing is to promote integrated urban development through partnerships between local authorities in EU member states and partner countries.
The program is aimed at strengthening urban governance while ensuring the social integration of cities, as well as improving the sustainability of cities, landscaping, prosperity and innovation.
Applications are accepted until March 27, 2020, 12:00 (Brussels time).
The first call for proposals was announced in November 2018 as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
