ArmInfo. The negotiation process on Karabakh has been going on for 25 years and over this 25 years, various approaches and proposals have been formed within the framework of the co-chairmanship of the OSCE Minsk Group. Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan stated this on January 16 in an interview with reporters. He noted that the absence of a document on the negotiating table does not at all mean that negotiations are starting from scratch. The Minister also emphasized that the format of the OSCE Minsk Group is an effective and unique internationally recognized format.
As for whether a meeting between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan is expected in the near future, Mnatsakanyan stated: "We have never avoided negotiations, we are actively participating in them. Last year, as you know, was quite active in this regard, as a number of formal and informal meetings. The process continues. We will announce about the meeting only after it is agreed by the parties, "the minister said.
Regarding whether to expect a meeting between the Prime Minister of Armenia and the President of Azerbaijan, Mnatsakanyan stated that it is too early to talk about it.
