ArmInfo. Tours of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia started in China.
In total, the orchestra will give 10 concerts in China in the cities of Shenzhen, Wuxi, Changchun, Changzhou, Lishui, Xiamen, Wuhan and Beijing. The program includes works by Armenian, Russian and Western European composers. As part of the tour, Chinese clarinet player Tony Shen will join the orchestra, who will perform a piece by Mozart. The initiator of the tour was the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in China. The tour was organized by the Chinese Armstrong International Music and the English Wright Music Management with the assistance of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the RA, My Step Foundation, and other philanthropists.
