ArmInfo. Compared to 2018, the level of Lake Sevan increased by 6 cm (or 78 million cubic meters of water, Ed.). Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of the Republic of Armenia Suren Papikyan announced this on December 23 during the final press conference.
<This is a fairly high indicator, since an increase in the level of the lake by one centimeter corresponds to a volume of 13 million cubic meters water>, he stressed.
At the same time, the minister noted that successes were also recorded in terms of collection of payments in the field of water supply. So, according to him, 840 million drams have already been collected, and by the end of the year this figure will reach 1 billion drams.
"I positively evaluate the registered results, since this is an area where we still have a lot to do," Papikyan noted.
