ArmInfo. In the negotiation process, Armenia should have a clear agenda, the country's leadership should make it clear that it knows how to act on the Karabakh conflict settlement. This was announced at a press conference on Wednesday December 11 by the head of the "Hay Dat" office and political affairs, member of the ARF Bureau "Dashnaktsutyun" Kiro Manoyan.
Speaking about the results of the last meeting at the level of the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan and the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group in Bratislava, Manoyan stated that three different positions on the Karabakh issue were reflected at the meeting.

Criticizing the position of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia that the right of the people of Artsakh to self-determination is a fundamental principle and the basis for a peaceful settlement, Manoyan recalled the referendum on the independence of Artsakh, which was held in 1991, then 2006 and 2017.
The head of the office, "Ay Dat," expressed concern about the unacceptability of the above item, as well as the reluctance of intermediaries to offer new ideas and approaches to resolve the conflict. According to him, this state of affairs could lead the negotiation process to a standstill.

At the same time, noting that Armenia should have a clear agenda on the Karabakh settlement through negotiations, so that the country's leadership makes it clear that there are people among them who understand and know what and how to do. Manoyan also reminded of the need to sign a military-political alliance between the two Armenian republics, which will clearly record the obligations and provisions that Armenia takes upon itself.
, Manoyan said, noting that this will allow Armenia to be more consistent in the negotiations, to counter the accusations of Azerbaijan in aggression.
, Manoyan said, continuing that Armenian diplomacy is afraid of external pressure, but does not consider this an excuse. Touching upon the statement of Nikol Pashinyan that "Artsakh is Armenia, period", the expert stated that if the words of the Armenian leader are really the goal, then no steps will be taken in this direction, unless only influencing the upcoming elections in Artsakh he emphasized.
