Charles Aznavour`s "With a Soft Whisper " book published in Armenian  with the support of Amundi- ACBA Asset Management

ArmInfo.With the support of Amundi-ACBA Asset Management, Newmag translated into Armenian and published the book of the great chansonnier Charles Aznavour "With a Soft Whisper." In the book, which was published in France in 2009,  Aznavour openly talks about his family and past difficulties in his  career, presents the path of his success and fame.  According to the  official statement of ACBA Credit Agricole Bank, in general, the book  tells about the lessons of life and irony of fate.

Hrayr Aslanyan, Deputy Executive Director of Amundi-ACBA Asset  Management, noted that Charles Aznavour, who is 100% Frenchman and  100% Armenian, made an invaluable contribution to both  Armenian-French relations and various fields of socio-economic and  cultural life of Armenia. "Aznavour's help cannot be overestimated,  especially in the days of the devastating earthquake in December  1988. With great joy and enthusiasm we decided to support the  publication of this book. "With a Soft Whisper" will enable the  Armenian reader to get a new look at individual episodes of Charles  Aznavour's life, "he said.

In turn, the head of the Newmag publishing program, Artak Aleksanyan,  expressing gratitude to Amundi - ACBA Asset Management for the  assistance provided, stressed that the publication of the book is a  joint attempt to perpetuate the heritage of Aznavour. "Newmag is  preparing for the year 2024, for the 100th anniversary of Aznavour,  to translate all the books of the Maestro into Armenian. Aznavour was  with us at the most painful moment for us, and when we most needed  him. He came when no one expected, helped when no one asked and  stayed when many left", he said.

According to the report, the Ambassador Extraordinary and  Plenipotentiary of France to Armenia Jonathan Lacote and the son of  the great Chansonnier Nikol Aznavour were also present at the  presentation of the book. In his speech, the Ambassador emphasized:  "I want to express special gratitude to the Amundi- ACBA Asset  Management company for assistance in implementing this initiative,  which is an important link in the Armenian-French friendship."

The book can be purchased at all bookstores in Armenia.
