ArmInfo.The Bjni mineral-water production plant must be returned to its rightful owner. Businessman Khachatur Sukiasyan, whose family previously owned the enterprise, expressed this opinion . According to the entrepreneur, for more than a year now a "certain process" has been going on around the enterprise - plant employees are called for interrogation. "The plant was seized illegally, based on fake documents," he said.
In this case, according to the entrepreneur, the return process must be absolutely legal; otherwise the new government will be likened to the old.
To recall, as a result of inspections in 2007 at the Bjni mineral-water plant belonging to the SIL concern of Sukiasyan family, a fine of 5.2 billion drams was imposed on the plant. After the company refused to pay fines, regarding the company began bankruptcy and the Bjni plant was auctioned to businessman, MP of the National Assembly Ruben Hayrapetyan. As representatives of the SIL concern stated then, "special" attention to organizations belonging to the Sukiasyan family or collaborating with it, and, according to them, illegal checks began after September 21, 2007, when the Sukiasyan brothers expressed their support to former president of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan.
On July 24, 2009, Bjni CJSC and Khachatur Sukiasyan appealed to the European Court of Human Rights against the Republic of Armenia and intend to recover 220 million euros from the state as just compensation. In October 2009, the second branch of the European Court of Human Rights accepted the claim for consideration.
