It should be reminded that the Government of Armenia at its July 11 meeting approved a draft of the relevant agreement for ratification, which will be forwarded to the RA National Assembly in the established manner. According to the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Artak Apitonyan, the agreement was signed on May 26, 2019 as part of the visit of the government delegation to the PRC led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The deputy minister emphasized that recently there has been a positive dynamics in the development of bilateral relations in the political, economic and cultural spheres. The parties declared their readiness to develop these relations by signing an agreement allowing citizens of the two states with ordinary passports and without visas to be in each other's territory for 90 days. Ratification of the agreement, the deputy minister continued, will provide an opportunity to build up bilateral trade and economic ties and increase the tourist flow.
