Pashinyan dismissed Movses Hakobyan and his first deputy

ArmInfo. By the decree of  the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, the Chief Military  Inspector of the RA Movses Hakobyan was relieved of his post. The  corresponding decree is published on the website of the RA  government.

It is also reported that the first deputy Movses Hakobyan, Kamo  Kochunts, has also been relieved of his post.

Recall that Movses Hakobyan took this post in the summer of 2018,  after the "velvet revolution", before that he was the chief of the  General Staff of Armenia, and even earlier the commander of the  Artsakh Defense Army.

At the same time, the reasons why Hakobyan left his post are not  indicated. It is noteworthy that in the summer of this year,  information was circulating in the media that Hakobyan was showing  presidential ambitions and intends to take part in the presidential  election in Artsakh, scheduled for the spring of 2020.
