ArmInfo. Extrabudgetary funds of various departments of Armenia will be liquidated. At the meeting on November 14 in the second and final reading, the RA Parliament approved the amendments to over two dozen laws that regulate extrabudgetary funds of various state structures.
Presenting the package, RA Minister of Finance Atom Dzhandzhugazyan noted that over the years extra- budgetary funds of various departments were formed, from which bonus payments to these structures were paid, and some other activities were financed. Now it is proposed to liquidate these funds, and to direct the funds to the revenue part of the state budget of the country, from where financing will be provided, including bonus payments. This, in total, is about 30.5 billion drams. This measure, the minister continued, fits into the government's programs aimed at ensuring transparency of budget funds and effective management of public resources.
