ArmInfo. The faction of the ruling "My Step" bloc led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, once again discussed the situation around the Amulsar field and again did not come to any conclusion. After a meeting of the faction, the deputy speaker of the parliament, Alen Simonyan, reported this to journalists.
He stated that different opinions were voiced, but no decision was made. ''We cannot sacrifice either the international authority of Armenia or its ecology. At the same time, we are not constrained when making any decision on the operation of the mine or on the prohibition of operation. In any case, the decision should come from the state interests of Armenia'', Simonyan said.
Simonyan also assured that in addition to the Amulsar issue, no other issues were discussed, and yesterday's decision of the Constitutional Court in the case of Robert Kocharian also was not considered.
