Entrepreneurs whose products burned out in " Dzyunik Sarnaran" LLC  Cold storage warehouse expect government to compensate for tax  payments

ArmInfo. During the fire on August 19, products of 12 enterprises in the amount of 900 tons with a total value of about $ 30 million were stored in the "Dzyunik  Sarnaran" LLC Cold storage warehouse. This was announced on August 28  at a press conference at the Noyan Tapan club by one of the  businessmen, the head of "Brothers Armen and Amik" LLC Arthur  Andresyan, who emphasized that his enterprise had the lion's share of  products stored in the Dzyunik Sarnaran

, he stressed.

A. Andreasyan said that on behalf of all the affected entrepreneurs,  "Dzyunik Sarnaran" LLC applied to the Prime Minister of Armenia with  a request to compensate for the customs duties and VAT paid. In this  context, he noted that customs duties on poultry imports amounted to  26.6%, and VAT with the entry into the EAEU increased to 46.6%.  

Speaking specifically about his company, whose market share is about  25-30%, the businessman noted that the question is about a total of $  700-800 thousand in compensation for VAT and customs duties.

In addition, A. Andreasyan noted that all enterprises that stored  their products in the "Dzyunik Saranaran" Cold storage warehouse have  loans and credit lines.

Responsibility for what happened, according to the entrepreneur, lies  with Dzyunik Sarnaran LLC, according to the agreement in which the  latter must compensate the affected parties for an amount equal to  the cost of the damaged product. However, Dzyunik Sarnaran LLC,  according to him, has been on the verge of bankruptcy for several  months now. , he  stressed.

In conclusion, the entrepreneur turned to Prime Minister Nikol  Pashinyan with a request to understand the situation. He concluded.  To recall, on August 19, a fire broke out  at the Dzyunik Sarnaran Cold storage warehouse. As Minister of  Emergency Situations of Armenia Feliks Tsolakyan stated in an  interview with reporters, the whole difficulty in extinguishing a  fire lies in the building itself. "There are practically no windows  in this building, in turn, it has very thick walls, assembled from  light materials, which are covered with cement on top. Thus, the fire  covered the walls themselves," F. Tsolakyan emphasized. Thanks to the  efforts of the staff of the Ministry of Emergencies of Armenia, only  a part of various goods stored in the warehouse was removed from the  fire. 12 combat operations of the Ministry of Emergencies of Armenia  worked on the spot. The fire extinguishing operation was carried out  under the personal control of the Minister of Emergency Situations of  Armenia.
