ArmInfo. Signatures of Germany's Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Minister of Foreign Affairs Heiko Maas today completed the process of ratification of the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement by Germany. ArmInfo was informed about this in the press service of the German Embassy in Armenia.
The Embassy was also informed that the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Commissioner for Eastern Europe, Russia, the South Caucasus and Central Asia Michael Siebert also wrote on his microblog on Twitter.
It should be noted that yesterday, the press secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, Anna Naghdalyan, also reported that Germany informed the European Council on August 23 that it completed the necessary domestic procedures for ratification of the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA). A comprehensive and expanded partnership agreement between Armenia and the EU was signed in Brussels on November 24, 2017. The agreement has already been ratified by the Armenian parliament, as well as Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Bulgaria, Luxembourg, the UK, Romania, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Malta.
