ArmInfo.IDBank, in the framework of corporate social responsibility, implements educational programs, one of which, under the name <IDBank Scholarship>, held an event on August 16, timed to the announcement of the results and the awarding of 5 scholarships to 5 students to continue their education in the Master's programme.
The scholarship holders were Anush Harutyunyan and Hasmik Harutyunyan (State Economic University of Armenia), Armen Kosyan and Suren Melkonyan (French University of Armenia), Irina Tadevosyan (American University of Armenia).
During the event, the bank also announced the launch of the 2nd phase of the "Build a career with IDBank> program. Mher Abrahamyan, Chairman of the Board of IDBank, noted that 19 out of 170 students have already been selected to participate in this program, who will try to integrate into the banking environment and become IDBank employees. The training course will last 2-3 months and students who have successfully completed it, as part of the retraining program at the Bank will join the ranks of employees.

Answering the question of ArmInfo correspondent regarding the < IDBank Scholarship > program, Mher Abrahamyan noted that a competition had been announced earlier, about 100 students from different universities of Armenia submitted applications for participation in it. "The process of selecting scholarship holders went through several stages, as a result of which the best 5 students were selected, who were awarded scholarships in the amount of 1 million drams to continue their studies at the Master's programme" he said, emphasizing that the educational programs of the Bank will be continuous. To recall, in order to participate in the <IDBank Scholarship> program students with excellent academic performance in the 4th year of undergraduate studies or intending to apply for a master's degree should have sent an email to the Bank, to which it was necessary to attach 2 letters of recommendation from the university, a certificate of academic performance, one essay on the topic `` How I Present a Digital Bank of the Future '' (500-1000 words), and also introduce one banking innovation. Preference was given to students specializing in economics and finance. To recall, IDBank (until June 2018 called Anelik Bank) has been operating in the Armenian market since October 1996. The Bank's shareholders are: the FISTOCO LTD Cypriot company with a 59.68% ownership interest and the Lebanese CreditBank S.A.L Bank, 40.32%. The shareholders of the bank are: Tarek J. Khalefe (CreditBank S.A.L) and Vartan Dilanyan (FISTOCO LTD).
