Armenian serviceman wounded on the border

ArmInfo.A contract serviceman of the Armenian Armed Forces has been wounded by  cross-border gunfire from Azerbaijan at the Armenia border.

According to the Armenian media, the incident occurred the day before  late at night in one of the combat positions. The 27-year-old  serviceman was transfer to the hospital of Jambarak, Gegharkunik  region of Armenia.

Press secretary of the RA Ministry of Defense Artsrun Hovhannisyan,  who, however, did not indicate the place or time of the incident,  confirmed the information on the injured soldier.

At the same time, he on his Facebook once again urged the media not  to disseminate information about injured soldiers, especially if it  was not verified.
