ArmInfo. Starting January 1, 2020, mobile operators of Armenia and Artsakh will reduce tariffs for roaming services. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan wrote about this on his Facebook page.
According to him, the decline will occur with a frequency of six months until January 1, 2021. As a result, according to to the Prime Minister, in the direction of Artsakh, the tariff for calls from January 1, 2020 year will be reduced by 25%, and before January 1, 2021 - by 30%. From Artsakh to Armenia, the tariff rate will decrease by 40% and 45% Data and Internet services will be reduced initially by 50%, and then by 65%. Tariffs for short sms will be reduced initially by 65%, and from January 1, 2021 - by 75%.
The Prime Minister recalled that since August 1, Beeline and Yukom have been applying new, lower tariffs for incoming and outgoing calls. In particular, instead of 45 drams, 38 drams for outgoing calls, 25 drams for incoming calls, 25 drams for short sms messages are used to transfer information 40 drams instead of 60 drams.
"The ultimate goal of this process is the task of forming a single tariff system both in Armenia and Artsakh," Nikol Pashinyan noted.
