ArmInfo. The Department for Corruption and Economic Crimes under the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia studied and summarized the damage caused to the state for the period from June 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019.
As a result, it turned out that during the period within the crimes initiated by the competent authorities of the Republic of Armenia, the total damage caused to the state in 742 criminal cases amounted to 110 billion 500 million drams, of which 30 billion 182 million drams were recovered.
In addition to the damage caused to the state as a result of the disclosed crime, during the preliminary investigation it became clear about unfulfilled property obligations to the state in the amount of 1 billion 413 million drams, as well as fines in the amount of 1 billion 952 million drams.
Unfulfilled obligations during the preliminary investigation were fully paid to the state budget, and 1 billion 943 million AMD were paid from the fines to the state budget.
