ArmInfo. Political thought capable of moving beyond the past has never emerged in Armenia. This opinion was expressed to ArmInfo by political analyst Saro Saroyan.
"In particular, speaking at the "Civil Contract" party's June 16 congress, parliament speaker Ararat Mirzoyan, in the "best" traditions of his predecessors, annoucned that a war has been declared agaisnt his party. At the same time, identifying the Civil Contract party "with the prospects and dream of Armenia", Mirzoyan said that the party does not have the right to lose in such a war, because it has the assistance of the citizens of Armenia, "he recalled.
The analyst considers these words of Mirzoyan to be a part of the political line followed by the ruling force dividing the political field into whites and blacks, revolutionaries and counter-revolutionaries. At the same time, Saroyan stressed the complete absence of political thought in Armenia, capable of setting clear guidelines for the development of the state. The whole thought of statesmen is still focused on satisfying the deeply hidden desire to have and hold political power.
Saroyan also expressed the conviction that in the absence of real political programs built on the basis of the agenda, politicians are forced to return and protect the known theses transmitted to them by their predecessors. This is the only motivation of power embedded in its own subconscious.
Meanwhile, in his opinion, through these very malicious theses false agendas are being genereted in Armenia today. As a result, there is a designation and targeting of false targets, an imitation of the struggle and an overestimation of one's own value.
"It is for this reason that the louder universal values, super-goals and super-capabilities are voiced in Armenia today, the more likely it is that we are dealing with inherently pathetic, full of intrigue, political demagogy. Everything else: economic growth, reform, rising living standards, investment prospects, etc. are just a beautiful wrapper ", the analyst concluded.
