ArmInfo.On June 18 at a meeting of the National Assembly of Armenia, Vahe Grigoryan was elected as judge of the Constitutional Court of Armenia. During the secret ballot in the country's parliament, 99 MPs voted for his candidacy, and 22- against. A total of 122 parliamentarians participated in the voting, one vote was declared invalid.
It should be noted that for about a year the Armenian parliament failed to elect a judge of the Constitutional Court. All candidates proposed by the President of Armenia faced opposition from parliamentarians, and the elections failed. The Armenian Parliament failed to elect a judge of the Constitutional Court five times. This is the sixth election of the judges of the Constitutional Court of Armenia.
