Regular planned exercises that pose no threat. And we, and the 102nd Russian military base stationed in Gyumri and located on the edge, are closely monitoring their progress. There is nothing disturbing, "he said, assuring Russia was interested in stabilizing in the region.
In turn, Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin assured that Russia is interested in maintaining strategic security in the region. He also reminded that Russia, which is a strategic ally of Armenia, is doing everything to make the Armenian side feel safe. According to him, the 14th meeting of the Armenian- Russian Military and Technical Commission, and the activities of the 102nd RBF in Armenia, are evidence of this. "All this is a real position and vision of Russia," the Ambassador concluded.
To note, Azerbaijani-Turkish joint exercises are held in Nakhijevan from 7-11 June.
