ArmInfo. The field of information technologies in Armenia is of great interest not only for Kazakhstan, but also for many international partners. Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Armenia Timur Urazaev said this on May 27 at a press conference in Yerevan, answering the question of ArmInfo.
"The Tumo Center for Creative Technologiesis already open in France. I expect that the same center will probably soon appear in Kazakhstan. We are very interested in other projects, such as the COAF or ATOM - educational programs that are somehow connected with the rapid development of information technologies. Kazakhstan’s partners are currently negotiating either the implementation of similar projects in one form or another on the territory of Kazakhstan, or the creation of joint projects and enterprises, ”the ambassador said. In this context, he stated that already for two years the NPC (National Payment Council) - at the level of the EAEU Prime Ministers in Almaty, are being held exclusively under the aegis of digitalization.
According to him, this is based on the main issues that are on the agenda of the Eurasian Economic Union - the creation of a perfect traceability system for Kazakhstani goods within the EAEU, its full digitalization, which will allow tracing the parameters, results and conditions for searching for goods through a single customs territory. "In this sense, cooperation in the field of information technologies is in full swing, including with the participation of Armenian participants," the diplomat said, stressing that he is constantly in close contact with Armenian technology partners and promotes opportunities for closer cooperation with Kazakhstan colleagues.
