He was the ambassador of Armenia to Switzerland and the representative of the republic to UNESCO. On October 11, Nicolas Aznavour made a brief speech at the presentation dedicated to the center "Aznavour"- the last grand project of the great chanson, saying that Charles Aznavour really wanted to be present at the presentation of the project, on which they had worked together for two years.
"It is very painful for me that he is not here today. At the same time, I feel deep gratitude because the center will perpetuate the memory of the father," said Nicolas Aznavour. According to him, French culture will shine in Armenia at the Aznavour center. Part of the center will be devoted to Aznavour's works, but it will be presented more interactively than in a regular museum. The father's voice will introduce visitors to the center, who will present them the most important stages of his life ranging from the emigration of parents to his victory on the scene. The center will also be a territory of educational and cultural exchange. In particular, we will offer a method of learning French, based on the texts of the works of the father, "said Nicolas. He expressed the hope that he would be able to settle in Armenia to devote himself to the projects that his father was implementing at home.
