Analyst: Transformation of Artsakh into the problem of the presence  of external forces is in reality as much as in relation to Lori vs  Shirak

ArmInfo.The transformation of the Armenian region of Artsakh into the problem of the presence of external forces is in reality as much as it is with respect to the  regions of Lori or Shirak. Independent analyst Hrachya Arzumanyan  (Stepanakert) expressed a similar opinion to ArmInfo. 

"Thus, the threat of turning Artsakh into a" mandate "problem today  does not exist. However, this does not mean that such a threat cannot  appear and become real tomorrow. At the same time, the threat of the  emergence of a similar problem is much higher in Yerevan, and not in  Stepanakert" - he stressed.

It the estimation of Arzumanyan, Artsakh, is undoubtedly a part of  Armenia. Accordingly, public discussions on this topic are absolutely  meaningless. Against the background of this reality, the only topic  to be actively discussed, in his opinion, is how and through what  legal mechanisms of the national strategy to form this reality.

The past month was marked by a sharply intensified discussion in the  Armenian society, in Armenia and Artsakh, regarding the expediency of  joining Artsakh de jure to Armenia. Vitaly Balasanyan, the hero of  the Artsakh war, secretary of the Artsakh Republic of Artsakh, about  the actual inadmissibility of the reunification of two Armenian  states caused particular discontent in Armenia. To note, Balasanyan  is going to take part in the presidential elections scheduled for  2020 in Artsakh.

According to analyst estimates, several dozen people starting to lose  property and other assets are ready to take any steps, including  national betrayal. In this light, to enter into a discussion about  the belonging of Artsakh, in his opinion, means pouring water on the  mill of these potential collaborators.  In the opinion of Arzumanyan,  by engaging the Armenian society in this discussion, meaningless by  its definition, these people are trying to drag him into an extremely  dangerous adventure for the Armenian statehood. Thus, prerequisites  are created for the actualization of the historical question as a  political problem, a prerequisite for the intervention of external  forces in an already resolved problem.  "I really hope that this  whole situation will be completed by the presidential elections in  Artsakh in 2020, if not earlier. Unfortunately, the Armenian people  like to discuss fantastic scenarios, losing real opportunities at the  same time. Meanwhile, today it's necessary to work towards personal  response to existing and recurring real challenges and threats ",  Arzumanyan summed up.
