Analyst: Revanchism rots, decays, and stifles Armenian society

ArmInfo.Today, after the change of power, Armenia is welcomed almost throughout the world, foreign policy processes are underway, new proposals are being made.   ArmInfo, Director of the Armenian Center for Strategic and National  Studies Manvel Sargsyan expressed this opinion.However, instead of  dealing with such issues, building statehood, strengthening the  sovereignty of a certain stratum of the Armenian society, and no  small, waiting for only one thing - the disaster, the collapse, the  destruction of Armenia.

With only one goal - to prove, first of all, to themselves their own correctness."I had to face such a truly terrible phenomenon in the late 80s and early 90s. And now the  information space is covered with all this rot. One prominent  politician once noted that, unlike the deceased, who can be buried,  dead society cannot be buried.

That's exactly how revanchism is rotting today, decomposing under our feet, infecting Armenian society with the stench, "he stressed.According to Sargsyan, all these people  are striving to return the country to the recent past, to the world  of lies, in which Armenian society has been living for the past three  decades. 

The reason for such behavior of the revanchist-minded part of the  Armenian society Sargsyan sees in the post-revolutionary processes in  Armenia, as a result of which the majority of citizens remained, to  put it mildly, out of work.All this mass of people, according to  analyst estimates, consists of the so-called.  politicians, social  activists, people who provide various dirty services, journalists.  And this mass for decades enjoyed the "benefits" of past regimes. And  now, having lost a place in the sun, he is engaged in the propaganda  of evil, predicting the country will soon end.According to the  analyst, this is a very dangerous trend that needs to be overcome.  Sargsyan is convinced of the need to explain to society the essence  of what is happening, to explain to people that certain circles are  trying to manipulate them, inculcating in their minds doubts about  everything and everyone. "All this is not the first time in Armenia,  I have already seen, observed and analyzed all this. Therefore, I  hope very much that this will be overcome by us and we will be able  to specify the situation and go in tune with real processes," the  analyst concluded.
