Armenian Ministry of Diaspora considers inadmissible attempts to  transfer a crime, carried out on domestic soil, into an interethnic  plane

ArmInfo.The Ministry of Diaspora of Armenia monitors the events taking place in the last days in the Kazakh city of Karaganda, constantly keeps in touch with  representatives of the Armenian community, and expresses its concern  about this incident.

This is stated in a statement released by the Ministry of Diaspora. The statement, in particular, states: "We consider it inadmissible to attempt to transfer the crime, carried  out on domestic soil, into an international plane. We condole with  the family of the deceased, expressing the hope that the  investigation will solve this case, and the guilty will be punished.  The Armenian community in Kazakhstan has historically had its role in  various areas of the republic's life, and such incidents should not  affect both the warm and friendly relations between the two nations.  "

To note, on the night of January 1 in the restaurant "Ancient Rome"  in the city of Karaganda there was a fight. As a result of the  incident, a 23-year-old resident  of Karaganda was killed, three more  were injured. The deadly brawl in Kazakhstan has become a fertile  ground for inciting ethnic hatred and the spread of misinformation.  Three Armenians were involved in it. According to the latest data, 7  people were detained on the fact of fighting and murder five of them  were arrested. One participant in the fight - allegedly a murderer -  escaped and is on the international wanted list.
