SRC of Armenia calls upon paid car park owners to pay licensing tax  established by law

ArmInfo. The State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia calls upon the owners of paid parking lots to pay the licensing tax established by law.

According to the SRC press service, in case of non-payment of the  statutory tax, Article 407 of the Tax Code of the Republic of Armenia  will be applied, which provides for appropriate liability measures.  The source notes that on adjacent to a number of shopping facilities  and catering facilities are paid for parking cars, without applying  the procedure for registering their entry and exit. "Taking into  account the fact that this activity is subject to taxation in  accordance with Article 276 of the Tax Code, we offer to pay for and  obtain a license in order to avoid liability,"  SRC says. 

The report also notes that this type of activity of individuals who  have not received state registration or not registered with the tax  authority will be considered as illegal business activity. The 407th  article of the Tax Code will be applied to them, providing for the  application of an administrative fine in the amount of 50% of the  calculated income from business activities, but not less than 200  thousand drams.
