Zakharova: Moscow will welcome the organization of the next meeting  of Mnatsakanyan-Mamedyarov in Milan

ArmInfo.Moscow welcomes not only the implementation of the agreements, but also contacts  between the parties to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said this on November 22 during a weekly briefing, referring to a possible meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers on the sidelines of the OSCE meeting in  Milan on December 6-7.

According to her, Moscow would welcome another round of such  meetings, if the parties agree to hold it. "This is sovereign the  right of each state to make such decisions, to conduct such meeting.  If such a meeting takes place, it will be constructive, we will only  be welcome, "said Zakharova.

Meanwhile, commenting on the proposal of Azerbaijan to exchange  prisoners of "all for all", the representative of the Russian Foreign  Ministry noted that this is a great initiative, but it needs to be  worked out in order to reach an agreement with the Armenian side. "We  welcome any agreements of the parties that are in line with the main  task of resolving the conflict, but the agreements presuppose  agreement and work on reaching this agreement. The initiative is  remarkable, but it needs to be worked out in order for them to turn  into agreements", Zakharova concluded.
