ArmInfo.The head of the ''Tseghakron'' party, Shant Harutyunyan, was released from the Vardashen penal institution. The lawyer of Arutyunyan Inessa Petrosyan has informed the correspondent of ArmInfo about that.
To note Shant Harutyunyan was released under an amnesty. To recall the head of the ''Tseghakron'' party, Shant Harutyunyan, was arrested on November 8, 2013, in the case of riots. On October 17, 2014, a judge of the administrative districts of Yerevan Kentron and Nork- Marash sentenced Harutyunyan to 6 years of imprisonment, on charges of violent resistance to a representative of the authorities. In September 2015, the lawyer of Harutyunyan Inessa Petrosyan appealed to the European Court of Human Rights.
In turn, after the "Velvet Revolution", Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan suggested that Harutyunyan change the measure of his suppression, but he refused, demanding justification. Pashinyan refused this, arguing that, like the previous authorities, he could not manage the courts.
