ArmInfo. According to preliminary data, there are no Armenians or citizens of Armenia in the crashed passenger plane of a Boeing 737 MAX of Lion Air airline in Indonesia. The press secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Anna Naghdalyan informs ArmInfo.
The Boeing 737 MAX 8 crashed about 13 minutes after departure from Jakarta airport. The debris and personal belongings of the passengers were found in the Java Sea, near the coast of Java. The plane was flying JT610 to the city of Pankalpinang (the capital of the province of Bangka-Belitung). According to the latest data, there were 188 people on board, including seven crewmembers.
