Gennady Tavaratsyan appointed head of the National Defense University  of Defense Ministry of Armenia

ArmInfo.Gennady Tavaratsyan was appointed Head of the National Defense Research University of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia. The corresponding decree was signed by RA President Armen Sarkissian.

"Taking as a basis the proposal of the Prime Minister of the Republic  of Armenia, according to part 1 of Article 133 of the Constitution of  Armenia, as well as clause 1 of part 1, Article 37 of the RA Law "On  Military Service and the Status of a Military Person", to appoint  Gennady Tavaratsyan as head of the National Defense Research  University of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, relieving him of  the position of head of the Strategic Planning Directorate of the  General Staff of the RA Armed Forces'', the relevant statement reads.
