ArmInfo. During my last nomination for the post of prime minister, I did not have time to say everything I wanted, Acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan told journalists on October 27.
"In particular, there was not enough time to touch upon the economic sector. I don't rule out that I'll nominate for prime minister again in order to touch on the strategy and the current situation in the economy, as well as other political issues," Pashinyan said
He noted that the time for nominating a candidate for prime minister expires on October 31, and the meeting of the National Assembly will take place on November 1.
To note, on October 16, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan resigned. At the sitting of the parliament on October 24, the only candidate for the post of Prime Minister was Nikol Pashinyan, however, he was not elected. Pashinyan stated that his nomination is of a formal nature. If the parliament does not elect the prime minister twice, it will be dissolved by force of law, which is what Pashinyan seeks. Early parliamentary elections are scheduled for December 2018.
