ArmInfo. The State Control Service of the Prime Minister of Armenia will return the amount equivalent to one million dollars to the budget. This was stated by the head of the department David Sanasaryan on October 25 in an interview with journalists. "The results of our work are already tangible. In these last months of this year, we will return a few more millions to the budget," he said.
According to him, a part of this money will be restored due to High-Voltage Networks of Armenia, the other part - at the expense of SNCO "Lusanshan". Information in the form of a certificate of restoration to the budget 1 million dollars in terms of drams will be presented to teh Acting Prime Minister on Monday.
Nominally another one and a half million dollars will be recovered from the wind power plant by December according to the following scheme - the state should have paid the same amount for the tender work, but will not pay it.
The State Control Service also expects to return funds as a result of inspections at state universities in Armenia. One of the former rectors of the Agrarian University of Armenia agreed to compensate to nthe state for the damage of 350 million drams (more than 720 thousand dollars). The checks are being completed at Yerevan State University, where very serious violations were recorded. As of today the head of the Service has refrained from specifying what kind of violations have been revealed, , only indicating that there are elements of criminal responsibility. He also did not specify the involvement of the rector of YSU or the head of the Board of Trustees of the university, the former president Serzh Sargsyan to the revealed abuses. "The results on the amount have not yet been summed up, but according to preliminary data, the amount will be at least twice as high as that revealed at the Agrarian University," he said, stressing that checks are also expected in other universities. In which, Sanasaryan did not call in order to keep the intrigue. On the instructions of the prime minister, the Control Service checks water user societies, which provide farms with irrigation water. The first in the list is the Artashat Water Users Society. The activity of the penitentiaries is also checked. The head of the State Control Service also touched upon checks in the communities of Armenia. According to him, procurement abuses were detected in Azatamut and Ani communities, there are also inefficient and unreasonable expenses. To recall, on September 27, in a conversation with journalists, the head of the State Control Service David Sanasaryan stated that in the next 3 months about 1.5 billion drams (more than $ 3 million) will be retruned to the state budget of Armenia. According to him, these amounts will be returned as a result of inspections at High Voltage Electric Networks CJSC, Rodina-Diaspora SNCO, Luganshan SNCO.
