ArmInfo.Armenia attaches importance to the strengthening of sustainable cooperation with UNESCO and the continued attention of the organization to the preservation of cultural heritage in the region. This was stated by the RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a meeting with UNESCO Director General Audrey Azulai.
Welcoming the participation of the Director-General of UNESCO in the Francophone Summit, the RA Prime Minister stressed that this is a good opportunity to discuss both cooperation issues within the framework of the WPF, and bilateral programs and prospects for future cooperation.
The Director-General of UNESCO, congratulating the Prime Minister on the organization of the high-level summit of the WPF, said that she was glad to be Yerevan and take part in this important event that brings together French-speaking countries.
The interlocutors exchanged views on cooperation between UNESCO and Armenia, the activities of the organization, as well as prospects for cooperation in the fields of science, education and cultural heritage.
