ArmInfo. The organization of  Francophonie plays a significant role in addressing the challenges  that are pressing today, such as terrorism and migration. This was  announced on October 11 during the Summit of Francophonie by the  Prince of the Kingdom of Monaco Albert II.

 The Prince noted that all  the OIF member countries are carriers of the value system that unites  them.  "Recently, the world often faces crisis situations, and the  Francophonie organization, guided by the principles of protecting  human rights, solidarity and mutual understanding, plays a  significant role in difficult situations. We promised to transfer our  values to other countries of the OIF. These values are, in  particular, gender equality, prevention of extremism. Of course, our  organization has a lot of important things to do. Our organization is  guided by the values of humanism and solidarity. The Kingdom of  Monaco, in turn, is trying to develop all these values and ensure  their dissemination in various fields, " Albert II said.

The Prince of Monaco stressed that the OIF member countries should  not spare efforts and prevent the development of extreme poverty in  the world. In this area, he stressed the importance and significance  of the role of education.

Albert II also raised environmental concerns. "Given the location of  our kingdom, we are aware of environmental problems that are very  relevant now. In particular, the cleanliness of the seas and oceans  is of great importance for humanity," the Prince said.

Albert II also expressed his deepest condolences in connection with  the death of the great chansonnier Charles Aznavour. "Charles was  guided by the words of Camus:" My homeland is the French language.   "The death of the great chansonnier is a great loss for us all," the  Prince concluded.  In the conclusion of his speech, the Prince of  Monaco announced that in 2019 the Francophonie Summit would be held  in Monaco.
