ArmInfo. There is no operational connection with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev yet. The Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said this on October 3 from the rostrum of the parliament, referring to the meeting with Aliyev in Dushanbe and the agreements reached.
At the same time, he noted with satisfaction that the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border and along the entire perimeter of the line of contact of the Karabakh-Azerbaijani troops in recent days is much more stable.
It should be noted that on the margins of the CIS summit in Dushanbe, a conversation took place between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The sides expressed their commitment to negotiations on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, strengthening the cease-fire regime to prevent incidents on the contact line of troops and on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The parties also decided to develop mechanisms for establishing operational communication between the relevant structures.
