ArmInfo. On July 18, the "Green Initiative" campaign officially launched in Armenia, aimed at raising the level of ecological literacy and involving people in the process of making green decisions.
The campaign is carried out by the United Nations Development Program and the Global Environment Facility jointly with the Ministry of Nature Protection of the Republic of Armenia. The event began with the opening of an ecological pavilion in the Northern Avenue of the capital of Armenia. "This pavilion is an excellent opportunity to show that, with the right work and the right approach, there can be no discrepancies between the development of the economy and the protection of nature protection." The Ministry carries out purposeful work on developing solutions for various environmental problems and their application only then spread to the whole country, "said the Minister of Nature Protection Erik Grigoryan.
The Pavilion will be open from 15 to 25 September. It is an open platform for presenting the ecological life, where you can see plastic recycled furniture, a rechargeable device for mobile phones working on solar panels, etc. Visitors will be able to take part in the tests in the field and, if successful, receive gifts.
