Edgar Sedrakyan became judge of Cassation Court of Armenia

ArmInfo.Edgar Sedrakyan became a judge of the Chamber of Civil and Administrative Cases of the Armenian Court of Cassation. This became clear after the  September 13 secret ballot in the National Assembly of Armenia.

There were three candidates for the vacant seat of the judge - Edgar  Sedrakyan, Argishti Ghazaryan and Artsrun Mirzoyan. As a result of  the vote, the first received 67 votes, the second - 11 and the third  - 9.  Altogether 89 MPs participated in the voting from 105 MPs of  the National Assembly of Armenia, 2 ballots were declared invalid.

The candidates were nominated by the Supreme Judicial Council on the  basis of the third part of the 166th article of the RA Constitution  and the second part of the 143rd article of the law "On the Rules of  Procedure of the National Assembly".
