Director of NSS Artur Vanetsyan is ready to resign if at some point  there will be a public request

ArmInfo.Director of the National Security Service Artur Vanetsyan is ready to resign if, at some point, there will be a public request or the political power of the country will demand it. Vanetsyan said this at a press conference.

According to Vanetsyan, the fact that they wiretapped the head of the  National Security Service and though it is not an indicator for the  national security of Armenia, but this, as he stressed, is "very  bad". As the Director of the National Security Service pointed out,  listening to someone is the exclusive prerogative of the special  services. In this context, as he noted, the question of who recorded  the conversation between the heads of the National Security Service  and the Special Investigative Service is currently a matter of  paramount importance. The Prosecutor's Office will deal with the  issue.
