Gagik Tsarukyan: If the people of Armenia will support Robert  Kocharian, we will do it too

ArmInfo. If the people will support Robert Kocharian, then Tsarukyan will be a politician, guided by the will of the people, to support him. The head of the Prosperous  Armenia party and Tsarukyan bloc, deputy businessman Gagik Tsarukyan,  said this on September 10 in a conversation with journalists during  the election campaign for upcoming elections to the Yerevan mayor's  office.

At the same time, the businessman stressed that the issue connected  with Kocharyan's return to politics, as well as the issue connected  with the latter's support, is not worth the party agenda. "The main  thing is that the politicians are supported by the Armenian citizens,  because I am not a people's enemy. If people support Kocharyan, we  will do the same, too," stressed the businessman.  Regarding the  events connected with March 1, 2008, the deputy once again stressed  that everyone who is in any way connected with this business should  be held accountable. "It does not matter what kind of post occupied  by people who participated in the March 1 events, they should bear  the most severe punishment.  No one has the right to shoot at  peaceful demonstrators," Tsarukyan summed up.  At a meeting with  voters, Tsarukyan noted that regardless of who the people will cast  their voices, the parties of the Prosperous Armenia representatives  will take people's decision. "I want to note that in Yerevan there  are a number of areas that require a solution, in particular, I would  like to highlight problems with transport, elevators, garbage  collection, etc. I want to assure you that posts are not the main  thing for us, just we want and we will be able to help our city  regardless of who you give your votes we will congratulate the winner  without any offense. choose who you want because you are resident of  capital and you live here i want to assure that if our candidate wins  it he will fulfill our promises, otherwise, he will favor the mayor's  office ", - concluded the deputy.
