Russian border guards detained  Iranian citizen attempting to pass  Armenia`s state border at checkpoint "Karchevan" 

ArmInfo.Employees of the Frontier Department of the Federal Security Service of Russia in Armenia revealed an attempt to violate the state border at the  checkpoint "Karchevan" in Syunik region.

As the press service of the Frontier Department of the Russian FSS in  Armenia told ArmInfo, during the passage of passport control the  Iranian citizen presented a passport that does not belong to him. "In  the course of the survey, the Iranian citizen explained that he  mistakenly took the passport of his friend with whom they had come to  Armenia, according to the established procedure, the said citizen was  transferred to the law enforcement bodies of the Republic of  Armenia," the Frontier Department informed.
