Armen Sarkissian: I do not see any tension in Armenian-Russian allied relations

ArmInfo. A meeting with the leader of a large country, especially with the Russian president, is very important for Armenia, Armenian President Armen Sarkissian stated this in a conversation with journalists on September 7.

The President also said that we should not expect any significant results from one or two meetings.  Sarkissian noted that the two countries have established centuries-old and lasting relations.  "Despite the fact that the Republic of Armenia is only 27 years old, the history of these relations is very deep, I am sure that this meeting will be held in a friendly environment, moreover, I want to emphasize that I do not see and do not expect absolutely any tension in the Armenian-Russian relations" , - the president emphasized.  To note, on September 8 in Moscow the third meeting will be held between the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
