Head of the National Security Service nominated for the post of chairman of the Armenian Football Federation

ArmInfo. The head of the National Security Service Artur Vanetsyan was nominated for the post of chairman of the Armenian Football Federation (FFA). On this September 4, Arthur Vanetsyan himself stated in a conversation with journalists.

He noted that his candidacy was nominated by all the clubs participating in the championship of Armenia.  Vanetsyan assured that he will be able to combine the posts of the head of the National Security Service and the head of the FFA. "Time will show that one will not interfere with the other, work in the security system and in the federation will not suffer," Vanetsian said.

The head of the National Security Service also stressed the fact that he has already studied this sphere, and he has programs that he intends to implement. These programs, according to Vanetsyan, he intends to present on the election day the head of the FFA.  He also stressed that the development of youth football is top priority, and for this there are all the opportunities and resources. "The Football Federation is a fairly self-sufficient structure, and if we use our resources correctly, we will be able to multiply all that we have," "Vanetsyan stressed.

The head of the National Security Service also noted that he had already met with the leaders of clubs participating in the Armenian championship.

Ruben Hayrapetyan said earlier that the director of the National Security Council is the best candidate for the position of the president of the FFA and if Vanetsyan nominates his candidacy, he, Ruben Hayrapetyan, will not be nominated again, and will support Vanetsian.  However Hayrapetyan stated a few weeks ago , that he will not leave his post.
